Ad-Aware 2008 is the absolute best anti-spyware protection software available, and the most trusted as well. I have been using Ad-Aware for years now, and I have found nothing else that can even compare to the quality of this software…especially for free. Now if you are the type that wants every function then you will want to upgrade to Ad-Aware Plus or Ad-Aware Pro so you get all the bells and whistles. However, the free version functions just fine and does not impose limitations such as finding the spyware but not removing it (as some software does!). If you have never used this program then I strongly reccomend downloading it and running a full scan. Then after that you can just run smart scans, which are scans that only search through the files and locations that are most targeted by spyware creators. This anti-spyware software is top of the line and has receieved numerous rave reviews from magazines and more. This is another review…and another recommendation to download it.
