The PC game Spore is looking really good regardless of the date being pushed back. If you have been following this project then you are probably aware that Spore did not make it to store shelves on March 3, 2008, and instead will be released on September 7, 2008. I have been keeping up with this game for quite some time. It has intrigued me since the very concept was brought to my attention. The fact that you start out as a mere spore and then evolve into intelligent civilizations that accomplish great things. Your society can take part in things such as religion, technology advances, and eventually exploring the galaxy. You can create your own creatures (the creature editor can be seen in the picture above) and do TONS of other cool stuff. Although the game is very open ended, there is a level of progression throughout Spore and the game does come to an end. I think this game can provide hours upon hours of entertainment, and there is supposedly a nice surprise waiting at the end of the universe. As far as online multiplayer modes go I am still unsure of what it will exactly be like. I remember reading something about it, but I will have to do some digging before I say anything official about it. Once I find out more I will definitely post about it. Until then…I’m sure you will find something productive to do
