If you have been following the Myst Online series for awhile then you already know it hasn’t been on good ground for sometime. GameTap has been iffy about the series for quite awhile now, and fans have been worried about it. Now their fears are coming true! In 60 days from today the Myst Online: URU Live MMO adventure game will no longer be available. Sure, they are going to leave forum website open, but who cares about posting on a forum about a game that doesn’t even exist anymore? The entire forum will be absorbed with hateful comments by those who are understandably angry about it, and tons of rumors like “I heard it’s coming back better than ever next blah blah blah”. The fact is that you have 2 months as of today to get the most out of the game, then the plug will be pulled. If you would like to go check it out before it goes then you can visit it here. The game was a lot of fun and had a really cool community behind it. I wish the end could have come in a better way. It will be sad to see it go, but it’s simply too late to do anything about it. Goodbye Myst Online….goodbye.
