First off, I am not talking about the guy named DJ Hero….I am talking about a new game we will see in the future. We’ve all had a great time jamming Guitar Hero I, II, and III! We had even more fun playing the drums and singing in Rock Band. Now, we are going to be able to experience what it’s like to be a DJ! Activision has applied for the trademark in order to make this happen. Being that Activision is a legitimate company, we can count on them to make this a reality. The new game is of course spawning from the success of the other two, but it is actually adding a new “spin” to it ;). Corny jokes aside, the game should be really cool. They are going to actually create a DJ turntable peripheral for you to become a mixmaster on. I personally think it’s an awesome idea, and a smart move on their part. There are tons of people who wish they were in a rock band so why not play towards those who want to be a DJ too? The next step I see after DJ Hero hits the market is probably Rap Hero. Yes, it will be hilarious to see little kids freestyling in their rooms but hey it could be just as fun for them and us older gamers! For now though let’s just stay focused on DJ Hero, and look forward to its future release.
